Wow! Some Dinky diecast cars are now worth more than a real car!
DinkyToys celebrates its 75th anniversary-this year as continuing-enthusiasm for its miniature die-cast vehicles drives values to record highs – in some cases they are more expensive than a real car.
In March last year a pre-war ‘type 22′ delivery van once worth four shillings (20p) displaying the name of London cycling firm W.E. Boyce, sold for £19,975 – a record for an individual Dinky toy – while a boxed set of six vans hit £35,000.
